  1. Lewis Cooper

    Associate

    Lewis graduated from Durham University in 1993 with an Honours degree in Economics and qualified as a Chartered Accountants in 1997.

    Lewis then worked at a Big 4 accountancy firm in Manchester until relocating to Norfolk in 2004. He now has a portfolio of clients which includes owner managed businesses, the self-employed, Audit clients and overseas clients. Lewis works closely with his clients on both their business and personal tax affairs.

  2. Louise Hollands

    Associate

    Louise’s a qualified Chartered Accountant who trained with an International accountancy firm. With over 20 years’ experience and a business owner herself, she has vast strategic experience across a number of sectors.

    She works closely with her clients to provide advice and support to business owners to assist them to meet their business and personal goals. Louise thrives on providing support to business owners and being a positive part of their business journey.

  3. Simonetta Castellano

    Director

    Simonetta graduated in Business Finance and Economics from the University of East Anglia (Bsc Hons) and is a qualified Chartered Accountant (FCA). Simonetta has worked in practice in the UK as a Manager, with extensive experience in accounting (UK GAAP), auditing and tax for owner-managed businesses.

    Simonetta is fluent in English and Italian.

    As East Anglia’s Audit Director, Simonetta’s role involves managing the Audit team and liaising with the portfolio of Audit clients to ensure legislative requirements, quality, and service levels are met.

     

  4. Matthew Neale

    Regional Managing Partner

    Matthew’s been with the firm for over 20 years, qualifying in 2001 and joining the business in 2003. Having worked in different roles including as an Audit Manager, Matthews current position is that of Regional Managing Development Director for the East Anglia region and equity owner of the local offices.

    Matthew splits his time between acting for the owners of small and medium sized businesses, assisting them in all areas of accountancy, tax and business, and developing and implementing the strategic growth of East Anglia, which now has 4 offices and 80 team members in the Region.

    Having worked with clients from a variety of sectors and industries, Matthew has a good sound knowledge of range of challenges clients can face and is always looking to add bespoke and specialist services to the range of support East Anglia offers to ensure the client’s needs are covered.

    Matthew enjoys riding his trials motorbikes in off-road competitions when time permits!

  5. Victoria Eastwood

    Accounts Supervisor

    Victoria’s an Accounts Supervisor based in our Colchester City Centre office. She works closely with our team of junior accountants to provide guidance and mentoring, whilst also working with the Partners to ensure high standards are met consistently.

    Victoria adores animals and owns two cheeky chinchillas. She also enjoys cooking and baking in her spare time.

  6. Simon Welling

    Director

    Simon’s a Director in our Colchester City Centre office. He joined the business after running his own practice for 10 years, and with over 25 years experience working with small and medium sized businesses and having also worked in industry, Simon can bring a balanced and knowledgeable view to his clients.

    Simon’s built up a strong network of contacts in the Colchester and Essex area, assisting a diverse range of clients with year end accounts, Cloud Accounting solutions, as well as Tax planning and compliance.

    With a ‘business partner’ approach, Simon very much enjoys helping clients through the complete process. From start ups to established businesses ensuring that with each step the business takes that all the financial and reporting considerations are dealt with to minimise liabilities and maximise profits.

    Simon lives locally and is married with two sons.

  7. Melinda Simpson

    Director

    Melinda’s a Director based in our Colchester City Centre office. She has over 40 years’ experience having trained and qualified in a Big 6 firm in London, after graduating with an Economics degree. Melinda heads up the Colchester Office and provides Audit, Compliance and advisory services to a broad range of sectors including commercial and charity organisations.

    Her clients range from private individuals, OMB’s, Charities, and Independent Schools.

    Melinda likes to offer a holistic approach and services to clients built up through long standing client relationships and also has particular expertise in overseeing that our compliance services are delivered at the highest quality to ensure that the business risks of our clients are minimised.

  8. Caroline Johnson

    Accounts Manager

    Caroline’s an Accounts Manager at our Diss office. She joined in 2005 as a Trainee accountant and qualified AAT in 2008, therefore ACCA qualified in 2011 and is now a Client Manager.

    Caroline has a broad range of clients and has knowledge of Accounts, Corporation Tax, Personal Tax and VAT.

    Accounts Manager

    Mandy’s an Accounts Manager at our Diss office. With over 25 years experience of working for local businesses, both new start-ups and long running established companies, Mandy has a broad knowledge of the challenges business owners face.

  10. Glenn Strutt

    Accounts Manager

    Glenn’s an Accounts Supervisor from our Colchester City Centre office. He joined the Accounts team as an intern whilst studying Business Finance at university. After graduating, he joined us in a permanent role and worked towards qualifying as a chartered accountant.

    Glenn has a hands-on approach with an eye for detail, helping to guide and coordinate the Accounts team whilst maintaining a high standard of work.

    In his spare time, Glenn enjoys 5-a-side football and going to the gym.

  11. Ranesh Siriparsad

    Audit Senior

    Ranesh’s an Audit Senior based in our Diss office. Ranesh graduated with a Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting Sciences and his Post Graduate Diploma in Applied Accounting Sciences (CTA) at the University of South Africa and is eligible to register as an Associate with the South African Institute of Chartered Accounting(SAICA).

    He’s also currently completing an ACCA qualification and working towards conquering a Masters in Accounting and Auditing in the future. He’s passionate about businesses and helping businesses succeed.

    In his spare time, graphic designing is a secondary skill which has now become a hobby. Ranesh also enjoys being actively involved in various sports and loves bungy jumping and sky diving.

     

  12. Deividas Raklevicius

    Accounts Assistant Manager

    Deividas is an Accounts Assistant Manager based in our Great Yarmouth office. He qualified as a Certified Accountant in 2020, and has since worked with a variety of business from sole traders to Limited Companies assisting with the preparation of Accounts and Tax returns.

    In addition, Deividas helps clients with preparing VAT returns and provides support regarding the use of Cloud Accounting software.

  13. Piers Hall

    Accounts Assistant Manager

    Piers’s an Accounts Assistant Manager based in our Great Yarmouth office. He has over 15 years experience working with owner managed businesses for Great Yarmouth and Norwich clients ranging from Sole Traders to Corporates.

    Piers has experience in introducing clients to Cloud Accounting software and ensuring they understand the processes and have the training they need along with providing help and support with regard to Accounts, Tax, Payroll, VAT, and general business advice to his portfolio of clients.

    Being closely involved with all aspects of a client’s business helps build a good relationship and enables Piers to assist during various stages of the business from start up to exit planning.

  14. Maria Mummery

    Tax Manager

    Maria’s a Tax Manager based in our Great Yarmouth office. She has a wealth of experience gained over 25 years experience in Personal Tax working with a number of well known firms mostly in the East Anglian region.

    She enjoys using her experience to complete Tax Returns for sole traders, subcontractors under CIS, partnerships, those with income from property, Seafarers, employees etc. – basically anyone who’s required to complete a Tax Return! Maria will always look for the most tax efficient ways to reduce clients tax liabilities where possible and to lessen the burden of the complex tax system for clients.

  15. Stephen Holland

    Accounts Manager

    Stephen’s an Accounts Managed based in our Great Yarmouth office. He’s been a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants since 2006.

    Stephen deals with a wide range of clients from Sole Traders to Companies handling their accounts and taxation affairs. Other specialist areas include Cloud Accounting packages, Foster Carers, and Charities.
